The Ford GT40's journey to victory at Le Mans was an epic tale of perseverance and innovation. Born out of Ford's determination to defeat Ferrari, the GT40 became one of the most iconic racing cars of all time. Despite initial setbacks, the GT40's legendary status was cemented with a historic 1-2-3 victory at Le Mans in 1966, and subsequent wins in the following years.
This perfect 1:18 scale model is based on chassis #1075, which secured the closest-run finish in Le Mans history in 1969.
